Photo Montage

As my focus, or future main project, Id like to focus on a fully animated adult cartoon style. However this project was to be a "photo or photo realistic montage" and I was having a lot of issues finding a muse for the small project. I've had a lot of real life distractions, dad being diagnosed with cancer, grandmother had a couple small strokes, and all the pressure from school, yet lenny (the girl in the animation) kept popping in my head, so therefore I made the photo montage about her in a way, though a very loose way.

I like the idea and your honesty -- create a video because this particular girl keeps popping in your head.

I really like each of the compositions sit on top of each other...creating a good flow. Maybe some of the transitions is a bit fast?

Great movie! Visuals were great. Transitions smooth and concept fairly clear. I love the photos and the eyes on the hand. Reminds me of The Flyer issue about the doctor that sergically places fake eyeballs on people. Definately one of the best movies I watched. Good work!

- Images do get pixelated on intense zooming. Work with higher resolution pictures.

- The pupil scene doesn't properly line up with the black circle.

- Too quick on transitions, zooms, and fades out. Considering slowing the pace of your work, and avoiding too much black space.

- Picture frame not lining up properly on the intense zoom-out.

I think this project is the best example thus far of taking full advantage of moving images. There is a lot of tension created when the scale changes. I think if some of the transitions started sooner it would push the tension and shifting even more.

Nice photographs....especially the eye scene. I think your focus for the semester is clearly apparent in this film. Transitions very smooth & Beautiful CLOUDS/SKY...mane!

revise-blog comment i didnt notice it last time but now that i heard jill point out the variation where the eyes have been placed on the hands, i can see it very clearly. However, i don't know if it necessary to try to make it blend as if it part of her hands. To me the movie is still about a relationship with the building and girl only...i do not think that the girl is someone the artist has be parted from.
